The food was lovely. I have nothing but great memories from this trip. Everything was first-class. I thoroughly enjoyed its incredible location just off the port of Cairnryan, near the ferry to Belfast and the ferry terminal at Cairnryan.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and comfortable with a view over Loch Ryan. Convenient for the ferry ports at Cairnryan and Stranraer and we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our room that was spotless. The location in a domestic area was brilliant. It was set close enough to a ferry port, so we travelled a lot.

Friendly personal attention from the staff, clean - if small - ensuite, brilliant breakfast. They made sure we were away in time to catch the Cairnryan - Larne ferry, about 5 minutes drive away, and booked a meal in a nearby restaurant for us for the return visit.

A welcolm greeting always provides a good beginning when arriving at a hotel or a b&b and Balyett excelled - we felt immediately "at home". Balyett had many good revues related to the standard of accommodation and food and we were not disappointed. The location was ideal for touring the area.
